Investigation History
Since 2004, Historic Ghost Watch & Investigation has conducted investigations throughout Georgia and across the southeastern United States. This page contains a growing record of locations we have investigated over the years, along with selected case findings and historical information when available.
At HGWI, we believe the history of a location is one of the most important parts of any investigation. Long before a building became known for unusual activity, it was home to real people who lived, worked, celebrated, struggled, and created memories there. Understanding those stories often provides valuable insight into the experiences reported today.
When investigating a location, we believe one of the most important questions is not simply whether a place is haunted, but why. Our goal has always been to approach every case with respect, open-mindedness, and a commitment to understanding both the reported activity and the history connected to it.
The investigations listed below include historical properties, businesses, cemeteries, public locations, and private residences. Private investigations are only included with the permission of the property owner and do not contain identifying information about the individuals associated with the location.
While equipment, technology, and investigative methods have evolved over the years, our mission remains unchanged: helping people, preserving history, and seeking answers with integrity.
The following list represents a portion of HGWI’s investigative history and reflects our continued commitment to helping people, preserving history, and documenting unexplained experiences.
